BACKGROUND Many Korean churches feel a deep sense of gratitude to the early British missionaries who went to Korea. The first of these, a Welshman by the name of Robert Jermain Thomas, laid down his life for the Gospel and the Korean people. This has created in many Korean Christians a strong desire to bless the Church in the U.K. in return, and last September 1,000 missionaries drawn from 40 churches, led by Pastor Choi of the Kwangmyung Presbyterian Church, travelled here at their own expense to pray for our nation. S E Region hosted a group of 17 in total: (7 male and 10 females); including 1 pastor, 1 deacon, 1 interpreter and 14 young people aged 20-27yrs.

Bromley HSThen in January this year we were privileged to host a visit from team of nine Prayer Missionaries from South Korea 10-15 January 2015. The team called "Father's Love" was talented in performing music and dance as outreach forms, and our photo gallery has pictures of them in Bromley and Lewisham High Streets, where their flash-mob style attracted a lot of favourable comment.

It would be great to see all the churches and leaders who took part in the last Mission Week as well as many more people and churches as possible participate in this prayer mission. Please make the effort!

Yours in His Majesty's Service,
Pastor Emmanuel
